About Us
Foothills Community Center (formerly Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center) is a non-profit, independently-funded, event center supporting Chelan and Douglas counties' adult and 50+ community. Our multigenerational center hosts daily activities, including exercise and music classes, book and writing clubs, arts & crafts and much more. We also host weekly Bingo, monthly dances and other special events and fundraisers. Rooms are available to rent based on availability, including our large social hall.
The center operates an affordable lunch program weekly from Tuesday through Friday. Membership is not required and all ages are welcome. Cost for lunch is $5 for members, guests of members, and children under 12, and $10 for non-members. We encourage people to bring their families and friends. RSVPs are required at least one business day in advance: Call our office or visit our website at foothillscenter.com/lunch-program.
The center also operates the Second Chance Thrift Shop, located at the back of the building, offering top-quality, gently used and vintage collector items. The thrift shop is open 9am - 4pm, Monday through Friday and 10am - 3pm on Saturdays.
