● Facilitate in-person and virtual groups (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
● Coordinate logistics: venues, materials, communications, setup, and staffing.
● Recruit, train, and supervise program volunteers.
● Support the creation and execution of Joy Fund experiences for palliative care clients.

Client Engagement & Intake:
● Partner with the Client Coordinator to enhance client intake and orientation.
● Meet individually with new and existing clients to assess needs and connect them to resources, as needs arise.

Evaluation & Reporting:
● Track participation and outcomes, producing monthly program reports.
● Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
● Contribute to annual community needs assessments to guide Wellness Place’s goals.

Partnerships & Outreach:
● Communicate program information and updates with Staff to disseminate to clients, and assist in direct client outreach as needed.
● Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, venues, and community partners to expand program reach.
● Be available to participate in speaking engagements, as needed.
● Ensure Wellness Place's mission and services are consistently portrayed in a positive and forward-thinking manner.

Administrative:
● Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
● Stay current with psychosocial oncology practices and research.
● Embody the highest professional standards, maintain a community of inclusion and belonging, and demonstrate expertise and compassion while working with patients, caregivers, staff, and volunteers.
● Maintain Washington State licensure to practice independently and supervise others.

Minimum Qualifications
● Master’s degree mental health professional, licensed to practice in Washington State.
● Minimum of 2 years post-licensed experience.
● Strong clinical skills; support group facilitation experience preferred.
● Experience in program development strongly preferred.
● Experience working with chronic and life-threatening illnesses preferred.
● Skilled in planning, organizing, scheduling, reporting, and program development.
● Compassionate communicator with excellent public speaking, written, and interpersonal skills.
● Tech-adaptable with proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
● Team player who is flexible, creative, and a proactive problem solver with individuals at all levels (clients, donors, staff, and public).
● Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
● Able to work a varied schedule, including occasional evenings/weekends.
● Commitment to the Wellness Place’s mission and goals.
