Event/Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Job Description:
● The Events Operations Assistant supports the smooth setup, execution, and cleanup of events. Responsibilities include cleaning floors and surfaces, trash removal, setting up, taking down of tables/chairs, and assisting with light maintenance tasks. This role also involves working directly with clients to ensure their event runs smoothly, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the event. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
Reports directly to: ● Events Manager and Operations Manager
EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
● High School Degree/GED or above
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
● Relevant work experience in events production, hospitality or other related field
● Must have customer service experience
● Must have basic computer skills, technology including A/V systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
● Hands-on assistance with all aspects of event & operation execution, to include cleaning, mopping, moving chairs and tables, stage, set-ups / take down of all spaces on campus.
● Ability to support and take direction from Event Manager or Operations Manager
● Ability to work independently
● Coordinates with staff schedules to ensure exceptional customer service, safety, and the protection of Pybus assets during events
● Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
● Attention to detail.
Able to review event orders and assure customers needs are met.
SCHEDULE
● Hours and schedule are dependent on business needs
● For evenings and weekends
● Up to 30 hours a week
