The Bobapalooza Summer Concert Benefit
A Benefit From the Heart For The Heart
Bob Golie is a member of our local community. He was the face of Xerox in the valley and beyond, for 20 plus years. He is among those vital few who came to the rescue when your Xerox machine needed CPR. He is 51 years old, and last November developed a bacterial infection that possibly originated in his gums, moved into his bloodstream, and attacked his heart. The diagnose was so late that Central Washington Hospital rushed Bob to the The University of Washington Hospital for immediate open heart surgery.
Inspired by Mr. Golie and his story, we have proudly created the first annual, Bobapalooza Summer Concert Benefit, in partnership with many local musicians and The Columbia Valley Brewery, to raise money and awareness.
To raise money, we are putting on a concert from 2 PM to midnight, showcasing six bands who have generously agreed to donate their time. There will be a series of events to raise money, as well as a series of auctions. We are asking for donations for our auction and your help would further our cause immensely. We need your support to help Bob, and at the same time help build a healthier community.
