Super Summer Adventure Camps: Session 3
Join us for a week of Ecology at our Super Summer Adventure Camps. We offer weekly enrichment classes for kids with a wide variety of classes for students entering K-6 grades in the Fall of 2021. Grades K-1: Nature Detectives 9 AM – 12 PM Who wants to be a nature detective? In this camp, we’ll go undercover to reveal secrets of nature, and test out the art of disguise that animals use in the wild. We’ll use our unlocked spy skills to gather critical Intel about the world around us and go on the case – seeking the truth in a weeklong mystery that unfolds with every new camp day. Grades 2-3: Ecology Explorations 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM Calling all young ecologists to this summer camp! See the world through the eyes of a snake, experiment with bird flight, explore why and how fish float, and find out about some of the weirdest wildest animal adaptations. Grades 4-6: Urban Ecologists 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM The wilderness is a wonderful place to study ecology, but did you know you can study the relationships between organisms and the environment right outside the museum? Learn about how we connect to and impact the world around us through hands-on observations and explorations.
