Opening Reception: ''Picture the Musician''

"Picture the Musician: Portraits of Northwest Musicians by Northwest Artists" is a unique exhibition at the Wenatchee Valley Museum opening Oct. 1 and running through Dec. 24. The subject matter is individual musicians or musical groups, living or dead, whose home base is in the Pacific Northwest. Many media are included in the exhibit: paintings, posters, photographs, sculpture and more. Refreshments will be served at this First Friday reception, from 5-7 p.m.; museum admission is free all day with hours extended to 7:00. Museum affiliate Two Rivers Gallery also holds First Friday receptions.
