History of Fish and Fishing in the Columbia Basin

Dennis Dauble has researched fishes of the Columbia and Snake Rivers for more than 30 years. He currently teaches a course in fish ecology for Washington State University and writes on natural history of fishes for regional publications. His presentation will describe how fish and fishing are intertwined with the lifestyle and culture of Pacific Northwest residents, from American Indian tribes and the Lewis & Clark Expedition through modern water and fish resource managers and sports fishermen.
