Hands Across the Foothills - Chelan Douglas Land Trust
WANT TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIG???
Hands Across the Foothills is a FUN community event taking place April 20th at Saddle Rock. The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust is sponsoring Hands Across the Foothills, an event to raise awareness of the incredible value of the Wenatchee Foothills to our community. This event is part of The Wenatchee Foothills Campaign, which is raising money for land acquisitions and stewardship funding in the Wenatchee Foothills, and for trail restoration at Saddle Rock.
TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE: Help the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust make a human chain of people holding hands from the trailhead all the way to the top of Saddle Rock. This is going to take 2500 people!!!
Organize a group of 20 people to come join our human chain, or join as an individual.
Group Participation: We are looking for groups to fill 60 foot sections of trail, which is about 20 people. The group will be able to designate where on the trail they want to be. If a group is larger than 20 people, multiple sections next to each other can be assigned. We will ask each group to take responsibility to fill their section(s) and to recruit a section leader to act as a liaison between the Land Trust and their group. Does your club, business, neughborhood, group of friends, family, or church want to join the fun?
