Careers After School
Someone calls for help and sirens blare — It's time to go to work! Police, fire, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), dispatchers and other emergency medical services professionals respond to emergency situations such as heart attacks, head injuries, car accidents, fires, and crime scenes. They do what is necessary to stabilize and transport patients via an ambulance or by helicopter to a hospital, if needed, for continued care from a physician. At this unique Careers After School event, you'll be in the center of a mock accident scene and will witness these first responders in their element.
Careers After School events are free and open to 6-12 grade students, parents and educators. Light snacks and refreshments included. Space is limited so please RSVP.
