The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center is offering Basic Mediation Training - Resolution Washington and Washington Mediation Association approved 40-hour Basic Mediation Training course. This course teaches the process of mediation,communication skills, and conflict dynamics to promote peaceful and constructive approaches to conflict and its resolution, whether in the workplace, home, or in our community. This course will explore skills that can be used in all aspects of your life.
Who should attend?  Anyone who:
Is interested in becoming a certified volunteer mediator with the WVDRC, or wants to learn more effective ways to deal with conflict at work, at home, or in the classroom, or Is in the legal counseling or education field and needs relevant professional training. 
Trainees who have completed the BMT course are eligible to beign a mediation practicum to become a certified volunteer mediator with the WVDRC.
Our Basic Mediation Training is a 40-hour interactive learning experience over 6 days, with course materials provided. Registration fee is $550 per person. For groups of 3 or more from the same organization registration is $400.00 per individual.
The training is approved fo r 38.25 CLE's (7 ethics) for lawyers, 40 clock hours for educators.
