Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce Hires Sports Tourism Coordinator
Jason Grover has accepted the position of Sports Tourism Coordinator with the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. He brings with him a passion for sports along with 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Serving for a time as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express, Wenatchee. In this capacity, he participated as a member of the Tourism Promotion Area board.
Executive Director Steve Wilkinson stated, “We are excited and confident that Jason’s knowledge, skills and experience will greatly benefit the growth and success of Wenatchee Valley’s Sports Tourism and enhance the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce’s work in the hospitality industry through the Visit Wenatchee brand.”
Wenatchee Valley Sports serves as the communities’ catalyst to attract and promote sports and outdoor recreation activities. Creating positive economic growth for the region by providing support and coordination to sports and outdoor recreation events and programs and to produce leadership for facility development and improvements. Grover will begin July seventeenth and is looking forward to providing support in the collaborative efforts towards the on-going Regional Sports Complex Feasibility Study.
