Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce Affirms Support for Local Businesses Amid Immigration Uncertainty
As conversations surrounding immigration enforcement and potential deportations continue to unfold, the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce stands in unwavering support of our business community and the people who contribute to the vibrancy of our valley. While we acknowledge that industries such as agriculture, construction, and hospitality could face significant impacts, our message is clear: our valley is open for business and resilient.
The strength of our local economy has always been rooted in the dedication of the individuals who live and work here. From agriculture workers who tend our fields, to the cooks and servers in our restaurants, to the skilled tradespeople, and professionals shaping our infrastructure, every member of our workforce plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations in our region.
“We recognize the concerns that many business owners and workers are facing right now,” said Steve Wilkinson, Executive Director of the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber is committed to supporting our businesses and advocating for the people who help make this valley the special place that it is. Together, we will continue to adapt and persevere.”
The Wenatchee Valley Chamber is actively collaborating with local and state partners to ensure economic stability by making resources, guidance, and advocacy readily available for businesses. By working together, we aim to foster solutions that protect our community's local economy while honoring the diversity and contributions of all who call this valley home.
As always, the Chamber remains a steadfast resource for businesses navigating challenges. We encourage our members to reach out for support, share their concerns, and remain united in our collective goal of maintaining a vibrant, inclusive, and prosperous valley.
