Reception: Wellington Disaster
WVMCC observes the centennial of one of the world’s worst railroad disasters in this photo exhibit in the Gold Gallery, March 5 through April 24. Two Great Northern Railway cars were swept off the tracks on Stevens Pass in the early morning hours of March 1, 1910 and 96 people lost their lives. Learn more about this heartbreaking tragedy through photos and text, and enjoy refreshments at the free reception (part of downtown Wenatchee's First Friday art walk). Reception sponsored by McDee’s Art Center.
