Reception, ''Far and Forrer''
This exhibit in the Wenatchee Valley Museum's Gold Gallery consists of images of space taken from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and terrestrial photographs by Liz Forrer of Wenatchee. Forrer chose the Hubble images (which are in the public domain) for enlargement, and has paired them with her own close-up photographs of rocks and gems. The exhibit runs through Oct. 10, with a free evening reception on Friday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Forrer will be present to talk about her photographs, and refreshments will be served. The reception is part of the Wenatchee arts community's First Friday series.
