Opening Reception: David Thompson, Heather Murphy

The traveling exhibit ?The Mapmaker?s Eye: David Thompson on the Columbia Plateau' (honoring journalist Thompson's exploratory trip down the Columbia River in 1811), will be in the WVMCC Main Gallery through Sept. 25. Along with it is an exhibit by artist/biologist Heather Murphy, including wildlife journals and drawings. Meet Heather and enjoy refreshments at this free reception, which is sponsored by McDee?s Art Center and is part of Wenatchee's "First Friday" art gallery series.
