Community Conversation Series at Mission Ridge
Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort is collaborating with Rufus Woods of The Wenatchee World to create a new three-part community discussion series, “Mission Ridge Community Conversations.” The series is intended to foster a stronger sense of community in the greater Wenatchee Valley and provide a constructive forum for talking about important issues. Each event will take place at Mission Ridge’ Hampton Lodge and will be facilitated by Wenatchee World Editor Rufus Woods as part of his Art of Community NCW blog and podcast. The first Mission Ridge Community Conversation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 5 to 7pm.
Mission Ridge Community Conversation events are free and open to the public. A social hour with drinks and appetizers available begins at 5pm, with each night’s conversion starting at 6pm. The format of each night will be an informal discussion aimed at teasing out lessons that we can learn about how to make our valley a better place to live. An audience question and answer period will follow.
