Community Inclusion Coordinator
The Community Inclusion Coordinator is responsible for increasing conservation awareness in North Central Washington by building relationships with local communities and encouraging connections to nature on and off CDLT properties. This begins by creating and sustaining partnerships with our communities in Chelan and Douglas counties and focusing on new audiences for equitable representation in conservation for our area. Lack of equity for environmental education and access to the outdoors has been identified as a barrier to participation in conservation activities for the Latine/Hispanic community. The Community Inclusion Coordinator will address this through inclusive strategies such as bilingual education, personalized event invitations, cultural connections, relationship building, and free programming. This role requires the ability to hike up to 5 miles per day, carry heavy items (up to 40lbs), and must have a valid driver's license. Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed. Reports to the Engagement Manager.
