SALARY RANGE
- Management Analyst I: is $61,120 - $76,400 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $91,680, annualized.
- Management Analyst II: is $71,680 - $89,600 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $107,520, annualized.
- Management Analyst III: is $84,320 - $105,400 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $126,480, annualized.

JOB PURPOSE: This position is primarily responsible for assisting with decision support analysis, reporting, and research to support operational, asset, financial and/or resource planning efforts. Maintains project and operational plan data and monitors performance on goals. Organizes and facilitates decision making meetings. Develops and implements standardized reports and coordinates production of management reports. Evaluates data and reports for accuracy and reliability. Assists in system development and process improvement projects, as needed.
This position will be filled at the Management Analyst I, II or Senior level contingent upon the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant. This is not a remote work position.

- 25% Conduct or assist with basic decision support analysis and research supporting operational, asset, financial, and resource planning.
- 20% Update data systems with financial or operational data such as budgets and project schedules.
- 20% Monitor actual performance on goals, identify variances, and prepare supporting documentation. Evaluate data for accuracy and reliability.
- 10% Design and implement monitoring processes, standardized reports, and coordinate production of management reports.
- 10% Organize and facilitate decision making meetings.
- 10% Document internal business processes and identify potential improvements. Conduct research, formulate solutions, and coordinate implementation of process changes with a limited scope.
- 5% Assist in system development projects in an end user capacity.
- Ongoing Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Comply with District policies. Complete all required training. Maintain a working knowledge and comply with District safety procedures and specific safety requirements of this position, and those in accordance with applicable provisions of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

Management Analyst I
Post-Secondary Education: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Economics, Business, or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Typically requires at least 2 years analytical, data management, spreadsheet, financial and/or operational support experience. Utility industry experience preferred.
Management Analyst II
Post-Secondary Education:
Bachelor's degree (B. S., B. A.) in Finance, Math, Economics, Business, or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Typically requires at least 3 years’ experience as Management Analyst I, or other similar professional experience performing data management and reporting, conducting process evaluations, and performing financial or operational analysis. Experience in the utility industry preferred.
Management Analyst Senior
Post-Secondary Education:
Bachelor's degree (B. S., B. A.) in Finance, Math, Economics, Business, or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically requires at least 5 years’ experience analyzing business processes, performing data management and reporting, conducting financial and/or operational analysis, and developing reports. Experience in the utility industry strongly preferred.
