Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra to perform Pops Concert!
The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra will present their fourth concert of the season on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 7pm, at the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee (PAC). The concert, titled “Music from Oscar Winning Films”, will feature familiar Pops music from well known movies. On the program is music from Titanic, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Schindler’s List, Dances with Wolves and Jurassic Park. All ticket holders are invited to attend a pre-concert reception beginning at 5:30 pm in the PAC lobby. Live jazz will be featured along with refreshments and silent auctions.
Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1947, is in its 65th season and second season under the artistic leadership of Dr. Nikolas Caoile, who received rave reviews during his inaugural season with the symphony. Caoile is Director of Orchestral Activities at Central Washington University.
