Tickets are now available online for Community Farm Connection (CFC) and Education and Agricultural Together's (EAT) first ever Wenatchee Walk 4 Food Justice. Walkers will learn more about the local food system while anti-hunger advocates raise awareness of the important work promoting food security happening in Wenatchee.
Participants will follow a 5.5 mile walking route through Wenatchee visiting organizations that work on improving the community's consistent access to health foods. The group will tour a collection of community gardens, food pantries, gleaning operations, farmers markets, culinary programs, and school gardens.
