World renowned pipe organ virtuoso Dennis James returns to the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center to play the acclaimed Liberty Theater Pipe Organ, a 1919 Wurlitzer moved to the museum and restored to mint condition so that modern audiences may continue to enjoy its unique sound. James will give a brief concert, demonstrate the organ's capabilities (including 18 sound effects such as horse hooves and train whistles), and accompany two BUSTER KEATON silent comedies, "The Boat" and "The Navigator." James, the former house organist for Seattle's Paramount Theater, was honored by the American Theatre Organ Society for a career filled with outstanding contributions to the preservation and presentation of theater pipe organ entertainment. Popcorn and soda are included in the admission price.
