The NCW Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, January 10th at the Wenatchee PUD Auditorium. All meetings are conducted in English. This month, the presentation will be Pybus Market. Pybus Steel Warehouse, located at the foot of Orondo Street along the Columbia River in Wenatchee, is being remodeled into a 26,000 sq. ft. public market. It is scheduled to open in the spring of 2013. Pybus Market will be open year-'round, heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. It will house 15 to 18 year-'round tenants and also be the home to the seasonal Wenatchee Valley Farmer's Market. Once completed, it will be a $8M to $9M construction project. The project is a private - public partnership between the Port of Chelan and the Mike and JoAnn Walker family. It should be a significant tourist attraction for all of Chelan county.
