Get a feel for what it was like to be an early explorer like David Thompson or Lewis & Clark during this family activity day at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center and in Riverfront Park. At the museum you can tour "David Thompson on the Columbia" exhibit; experience the smells, sights and textures familiar to early explorers; hear Native American stories; and make your own miniature canoe. At the river you'll learn safety tips and paddling techniques, then get to paddle in a 10-person canoe. Event sponsored by WVMCC and Wenatchee Row and Paddle Club.
