Curious Conversations: Compassionate Communication

It’s not what you say. It’s how you say it. Discover techniques for curious conversations that help people listen and understand each other by transforming a negative statement into a positive. This education series is in partnership with Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center and NCW Equity Alliance and will feature learning sessions based on principals and skills used in mediation and restorative practices. Participants will learn listening and communication skills; study conflict dynamics and styles; and learn how to practice conflict resolution skills for de-escalation and peaceful communication. Attendance at each session in the series is highly recommended. Drawing for a door prize will be awarded at each session. Additional tickets for drawing at final session will be provided for participants attending multiple sessions. All sessions are free + open to the public.
