Catch the holiday spirit at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center with family crafts and activities during Christmas Family Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Museum staff and volunteers will offer interactive, holiday-themed tours of museum exhibits and lead several crafts activities. There will be refreshments and Christmas music, and guests are welcome to browse through the Museum Store for holiday gifts.
Children and their parents can make reindeer rope in the Farm Shop; buy penny candy in the General Store; talk to people getting ready for Christmas a century ago in the Victorian House; write a letter to Rudolph; and have photos taken with Santa. Craft options include creating a whimsical snow globe, beaded snowflakes, popcorn-cranberry garlands, evergreen swags, picture frames, refrigerator magnets, decorated gingerbread cookies and pine cone ornaments.
