The Chelan-Douglas Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program will hold a community open house from 6-7:30 PM on Sept. 5th at the Chelan County PUD Auditorium, 327 N. Wenatchee Ave.
The event will focus on how to become an advocate for abused and neglected children and how to become a mentor to an at-risk youth through CASA's ATEEM (Adolescents in Transition to Education & Employment through Mentoring) program.
Come and listen to CASA volunteers, Board members, a Court Commissioner and CASA staff as they share their stories on the importance of CASAs to local abused and neglected children.
Learn about CASA's mentoring program from staff and current mentors.
There will be time for questions and answers.
Light snacks will be provided.
