Careers After School - Municipal Court
Have you ever wondered what happens in the courtroom? Are you interested in learning more about the judicial system and the vital role that it plays in our society? The East Wenatchee Municipal Court serves over 150 court users on a daily basis. Whether you join the Court’s Administration, serve as a Probation Officer, Bailiff, Interpreter, or work inside the clerk’s office as a Deputy Clerk your contributions are highly valued. If you have an interest in other key participants such as a Defense Attorney or Prosecuting Attorney and their role in the courtroom this is the event for you. Students will get to witness a mock- bench trial and then speak to each key player about their roles and duties in the courtroom and the clerk’s office. This is sure to be a very informative and FUN event!
Careers After School events are free and open to 6-12 grade students, parents, and educators. Light snacks and refreshments included. Space is limited so please RSVP! Parents, please do not RSVP for yourself, we only the need the students registered.
Transportation is available for students who need assistance getting to and from the event. Please let us know and we can make arrangements.
