Alan Bauer: "Hiking the Cascades"

Noted nature photographer and author Alan Bauer will give a slide show of Cascade mountain landscapes at an evening program at the Wenatchee Valley Museum on Tuesday, Nov. 2. He will show slides and talk about areas featured in two of his Mountaineer books, Best Desert Hikes: Washington and Day Hiking the Central Cascades. "I'll do my best to show people scenes they've already experienced and also offer ideas to expand their horizons," he said. Bauer is a professional freelance photographer specializing in the natural and cultural history of the Pacific Northwest. Samples of his photographs may be viewed at www.alanbauer.com.
