DESCRIPTION:Join us for  the 12th annual Children's Home Society of Washington (CHSW) SweetHearts for Kids Benefit Luncheon sponsored by Numerica Credit Union.  This year's luncheon will honor Wenatchee's Regional Director Douglas Head who will retire this summer after serving more than 30 years with CHSW.  All proceeds from the event will support children and families in Wenatchee and surrounding communities.\n\n\n\nCHSW President Sharon Osborne will serve as the event's keynote speaker where she will discuss children and family issues from a state\, national and international perspective. The emcee for the event will be educator\, mentor and author Jon Magnus.\n\n\n\nFounded in 1896\, Children's Home Society of Washington is the oldest and largest state-wide\, non-profit children's organization--serving more than 39\,000 children and their families.  Its mission is to develop healthy\, children\, create strong families\, build engaged communities\, and speak and advocate for children.\n\n\n\nAdditional sponsorship support for this important event is provided by Kibble & Prentice and Columbia Valley Community Health.
