DESCRIPTION:Come learn about local recycling\, the Waste Wizard tool\, and how to minimize your waste\, especially with the holidays around the corner with Waste Loop and Sustainable NCW! Amanda is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Leavenworth based non-profit Waste Loop. Waste Loop\, founded in 2019\, seeks to inspire communities to transform their waste stream into sustainable resources. Jana Fischback is the co-founder and Executive Director of Sustainable NCW (previously Sustainable Wenatchee)\, a local non-profit that promotes a culture of environmental stewardship and social sustainability in Chelan and Douglas counties. This is a FREE event with a donation basket at door. Doors open at 6:30pm for a community social with beer and wine available for purchase. The presentation will start at 7:00pm. All Red Barn Events are now hybrid\, you may join us in person in the Red Barn or livestream virtually via Zoom.
