DESCRIPTION:Fifth graders in the Wenatchee School District learned about art from sculptor Kevin Pettelle this fall. On field trips they viewed Art on the Avenues sculptures in downtown Wenatchee\, then returned to the museum to create their own sculptures of wax\; these were then cast into bronze. The fifth graders sculptures will be on display at the museum for two weeks before the opening reception on Friday\, Dec. 3\, and will come down on Dec. 4. As always\, the First Friday reception is free and includes refreshments.
