Initially\, DHS released its proposed rule in 2007\, but backed off when the rule was rejected by a federal judge in October\, 2007. In March 2008\, DHS republished the proposed "no-match" rule. Gil will review the requirements of the proposed rule\, if adopted \, and provide an update as to the status of the rule's probable implementation.Other topics to be reviewed include:* New Washington legislation allowing leave for victims of domestic violence\, sexual assault or stalking (or whose family member is a victim and leave is necessary) and for family members whose spouse has been notified of a deployment during a period of military conflict\;* New federal FMLA leave provisions\;* The worker's compensation traveling employee doctrine\;*Recent cases addressing overtime payment requirements\;* Pregnancy and disability discrimination updates\;* Compensation for travel time.
