DESCRIPTION:Have you ever felt isolated or invisible? Do you yearn for meaningful conversations? Are you surrounded with family and friends and yet still feel disconnected? These could be signs of loneliness\, and you are not the only one experiencing it. A majority of Americans reported feeling lonely\, and a Loneliness Epidemic has been declared. Loneliness is not just a bad feeling\, it is harmful to your health. \n\n \n\nTo celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month\, The Young Professionals of Wenatchee is hosting a workshop to educate the community on our Loneliness Epidemic and ways to combat it. We will also establish a safe gathering space where you can have heartfelt conversations with other members of the community. Loneliness does not discriminate\, and we encourage all community members to attend.
