DESCRIPTION:Community members are invited to observe this annual contest\, where students from middle and high schools in Cashmere\, Chelan\, East Wenatchee\, Entiat\, Leavenworth\, Waterville and Wenatchee put the model bridges they have designed to a weight test. The builder of the winning structure will advance to the 2011 International Bridge Building Contest. The regional event is sponsored by Wenatchee chapter of the Washington Society of Professional Engineers\, coordinated by Ryan Peterson of RH2 Engineering.
