SUMMARY:Employment Summit Job Fair
DESCRIPTION:The first annual Wenatchee Valley Employment Summit and Job Fair\, sponsored by JDSA Law\, will take place on Tuesday\, January 24th\, at the Wenatchee Convention Center. This event is a collaborative effort between local education and business-centered organizations in the community including the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce\, Wenatchee Learns Connect\, the Wenatchee School District\, SkillSource\, and WorkSource.\n\n\n\nThere will be two main events on the day of the summit: a morning breakfast program on the topic of "technology-empowered employment\," featuring a keynote speaker from Monster.com\, and a community-wide job fair to follow.\n\n\n\nThe job fair portion of the day is open to the community. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate by hosting a table and making themselves available to discuss potential employment opportunities with attendees. Businesses and organizations who participate in the job fair will receive two complimentary tickets to the morning breakfast program. Additionally\, there will be a special opportunity in the afternoon for high school-age students to attend the fair to learn more about relevant employment opportunities.\n\nThe morning breakfast program goes from 7:30-9am with the job fair to follow from 10am-3pm. If you are interested in hosting a table\, or are interested in $15 tickets for the morning breakfast program\, please contact Tess from the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce at tess@wenatchee.org.
