Sounds dirty and gross but garbage collection and disposal is an important service to our community. This Community Leadership Wenatchee Valley (CLWV) Alumni event will include an overview of Waste Management services as well as a bus tour of the landfill and recycling center. You might think dump\, but the landfill involves rigorous engineering with strict environmental protection systems. The landfill is not open to the public so this tour is a rare opportunity to learn more about this valuable service. Open to CLWV Alumni only - registration required.\n\n\n\n$20 Registration ($5 goes to CLWV scholarship fund)
